Writing Thai is brilliant for doodling, especially in dull office meetings. It's good to know for the phonetics, if you can't hear what the tone is just ask somebody to write it down and there you have it

I've got this theory about Beer Chang in Singapore: it's Carlsburg. The English-label export 'Beer Chang' comes from the same factory as Singapore's Carlsburg (in Thailand), they're both the same strength (5%) and I can't tell the difference in a taste test. Chang is a dollar cheaper though, and that's appreciated.
