I really don't wanna hear any more excuses,or half-hearted apologies.I went to that site and I saw what was going on over there (before they wimped out and deleted everything).Teller,JediMaster,Chemmie and IceNine are scum,and I really don't understand why they still bother to come here.It's obvious that they are NOT really here to discuss Prince.They clearly have their own agendas.


Teller...after all the negativity,hurt feelings and drama you and your buddies caused,I think you just should do the right thing and ask for your Prince.org account to be deleted.I'm sure you guys can find other forums/sites where your extreme,divisive views would be accepted.And you would be free to discuss the things that you REALLY want to discuss.

In the legal system, we see many cases where evidence would have helped convict someone but was deemed inadmissible due to the methods of gathering. First and foremost is the future of moderation on this site. With people regularly running the mods over hot coal and requesting they go beyond the letter of the rules into some vague definition of the spirit of "bettering the Org", it's increasingly difficult to find anyone interested in taking up the responsibility. I was asked to consider a moderator position a couple of months ago and turned it down. These days, I'd not only turn it down, but run... run for my life. Face it, 9s, we're a punishing lot. There's a lot of public speculation on decisions and what allegedly took place -- on other sites I know, all this stuff would be edited. Here, it's often allowed to stand. I think that's a measure of the moderators' patience. While Matt is a lawyer, I don't think moderators should practically be expected to be legal scholars to moderate this place.

That's why the letter of the rules is so important : it draws much clearer lines than any definition of their spirit would. Basically, it's hard enough as it is. Make it any harder and see people resigning from their mod "jobs", being replaced by people with less aptitude for moderation, and so on... until we're back to square one : an unmoderated site, like the Org 1.0. Every moderator I've ever named has had to endure so much -- now if Dansa can't take it no more (and I'm not saying she's already there), it's a clear sign we're practically unmoderable.

This ain't a court or tribunal, but a fan website. If there weren't so many risks in doing so, you know what I'd do? I'd name the more regular and forceful critics to moderation positions and see what happens.

People, don't forget that Matt doesn't moderate on these threads, since he had personal stakes in it.

Well, I've already decided that Teller is a bad man.

That much is obvious purely from skim-reading everyone else's comments.

I like Teller.

Doesn't mean I agree with everything he says but I've always got on well with him. From what I've read it seems he was one of the least offensive peeps there. As for the hurtful jokes... well that goes on a lot between friends in private. I know this from experience. I have friends of all different races and the majority appreciate the dark humour even when it relates to themselves and the stereotype. I'm not saying it's right but that's just the way it is.

The personal attacks on individuals, however, I do have issues with. People ought to take a long hard look at themselves and their own faults and failings before calling others out.
