Matt, I apologize...I'm the goddamn prick! Earlier today in one of THOSE threads, I iggnantly said the following:
"It's nice to know I was right to think Matt was such a goddamn prick."
Jesus KUH-RIST Andrew, whatcha thankin'? I wasn't. I was having one of those knee-jerk reactions that I dislike so much. And GET THIS: After somebody questioned my labelling of Matt as a penis damned by the Lord, I thought about it...and thought about it...and said to myself, "I think I was thinking Matt was someone else...and that someone wasn't anywhere near G.P. status anyway...it's not like he was a bad person at all, just really arrogant (which tends to rub me the wrong way)...kinda like the arrogance I displayed in that post. I'm really sorry. For the record, I don't believe I've ever had any contact with Matt, although of course it's possible...but not that I remember, and that means it was quite pleasant and uneventful even if it did happen. Matt, I suck. Like SupaFunky, I'll take a shot in the mouth from a straight man. Just sayin'. 
I was just...kinda shocked from what Aaron wrote. The AIDS thing. It's like 1988 and Sebastian Bach is wearing a "AIDS Kills Fags Dead" t-shirt and my stomach churned then and it churned now. I have a sick sense of humor too, but we all know that's not what that was...that was meanness, born out of some petty online tiff. Of course there were also other things in those threads that were equally appalling...but that one hit closest to home for me. Plus, I've talked to cborgman, and he's a good guy. Matt...and all you orgers...I'm sorry for posting faster than I was thinking. Please forgive me...and visit me in the NPGMC Forum...it's a blast there! Now gimme your hands...cuz you're wonderful...just gimme your hands!!! WONDERFUL!!! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

ps-- TBA, that was a great post. Unlike many of the "apology" posts we've seen here today, you simply explained yourself, said why you ended up where you did it, apologized and left it...too many of the "apologies" today have been filled with "I'm sorry, buts..." Kudos to you, kid!  | |

on another thread... matt said Most of the threads in question were moderated by Dansa, not me. Aside from snipping two blatant flames and locking a thread that involved veiled threats, I've generally refrained from taking moderator action in order to avoid reactions like yours.
It's disappointing that you make unfounded accusations, and I think an apology is warranted (although I'm not expecting to get it). so who the hell deactivated C? | |
