blackcherry, I said nothing there that I wouldn't have said here, had moderation allowed it. If you've only read the mirrors and didn't explore the whole site, you don't know the whole story about any of our involvement. I was there initially to shoot the shit with Teller, and later got to defend myself against Aaron in a way that moderation wouldn't allow on the org, which I enjoyed. Teller did not create that website to spout racism/homophobia, he invited us to beta test a bowling site, for fucks sake. For the record, I don't believe that either of those terms apply to him.

MD7, if your list was called "Quaidbowl Members", then I'd have no problem with it. But I take my non-racist status pretty seriously, actually, and don't like my name under your KKK heading. It's not true, and it's not fair. You are being very unreasonable.

Well, this has been an interesting day. I expected as much. I'm not here to condemn anyone for their involvement in that site, I merely started this thread to allow those involved an area to explain themselves, if needed.

Some did, some didn't. Some did with a fuck'em if they can't take a joke attitude... that's okay, if that's who you are. Some looked withing their hearts and offered explanations that I accepted and forgave, not that it was requested or expected.

It's all about who you are, or who you think you are. We are not perfect. I've told racial jokes in my lifetime. I've engaged in sexual situations that would make my daddy blush... I've done drugs that should have put me six feet under by now.

I'm a different person now... my statement above was not intended to be sanctimonious (and it's my statement theblueangel, not MD7's), and it's just a statement from a guy who was wondering what was going on in your hearts.

I believe those who said they went in, posted some crap and left - or stayed on to fuck with people they haven't seen in a long time. I find it hard to believe, however, that they didn't know of the racist or hateful threads prominately placed in the GD forum on the site... I went there and read almost all of them... yes, I wanted to know what it was all about. But, if you say you didn't know, then I will believe you.


I love this place, the Org. I come here daily. I don't go to every forum, or post on every thread, but that's my choice. Those of you who made the choice to post over there have done what you've done freely. However, I refuse to put you all under the same label based on that.

I'll look at the individual. Their character speaks volumes over a brief incident of curiosity or friendly hellos.

There are degrees of culpability. It is up to each person who was a member there to deal with their own conscience and decide whether they truly believe they acted like a good human being.

It is also up to each individual here to devide whether to forgive those that posted there and whether we actually believe they were innocent. Maybe they are innocent of direct involvement but guilty of turning a blind eye.

I read every post there a couple of days ago (after I was tipped off) and much of it churned my stomach. Some people there I will never forgive or like, others are partially guilty, and there are a couple of people caught unwhittingly in the crossfire.

In short, we each have to decide who is guilty and innocent (and who can be forgiven), and they have to live with their actions.

A public trial is not neccessary now they have been exposed.

Let's not act like everyone was there to agree about every single thing said. It was a discussion board.
