Okay, so we got IceNine out of the way. Like I said, I can't imagine anyone being surprised by the things he said...he was actually somewhat tame, although he DID say that he wanted to see RDHull dragged behind a car. I would say that it might be obvious that this is not a realistic desire but an expression of speech...but then again, this is coming from someone who claims to adore Kurt Vonnegut yet who is a bloody ignorant, intolerant boob -- everything that Vonnegut himself rails against. So, whatever.

Aaron's the one I have a huge beef with...and he's the reason why I signed up on that site, so I could tell him what I thought of his "Faggoty-Andy" and AIDS jokes directed towards CBorgman. Now I don't really know CBorgman, although he seems like a nice guy, and I DEFINITELY don't know Aaron, although he's always seemed like a bloated bag of shit...and that has been confirmed indeed. If I have the misfortune of meeting Aaron's swollen carcass in the "real world," I will seize the opportunity to pump a syringe full of my infected blood right into his frozen fucking heart.

I know that must sound awful, but that's more than he deserves.

I don't know what else is on there..for the most part, all I could find was people bitching about why they got booted off the Org or decided to leave...much of which obviously centers around what they consider to be unfounded racial allegations by a certain group of members who post on the Org (and more frequently on the club).

Now this is something I can relate to. Coincidentally (or not?), last Friday I received an orgnote from someone who I've had a good amount of contact with on this site and others over the last year or so...someone whose opinions are often different than mine, but who loves the music with a passion I can't help but respect...anyway, this person completely mis-read a simple sentence I typed in a thread and said something like "Oh is that what the fuck you're problem is? NOW I see where we stand!"- insinuating that I've been a closet racist all this time, and he finally caught me!!

Well...I can tell you I'm not a racist. I don't particularly feel that I need to or want to defend myself in that regard, b/c I never said or did anything to indicate that I WAS. After I sent this person an orgnote back telling them how shocked and hurt I was by this accusation that was completely unfounded, they replied by basically saying, "Oh."

That was it. No apologies, no nothing. No "Hey man, I'm sorry about that...I know that you burnt me some CDs for free a while back and that was real swell, and I'm not sure why you would DO that if you were a racist, and I really shouldn't run around labelling people as such without thinking about the fact that IT'S AN ATTACK." No nothing, just "Oh."

And yeah, this person is one of the ones that many of the people on that site take issue with...and again, I LIKE this person, but was extremely hurt and confused by his actions.

I say Aaron should never be allowed back on the site. Or IceNine. The rest should be allowed back...I don't know them except for reading their posts here and there, but they should at least be allowed to explain themselves. I didn't see Supa saying anything remotely racist or laughing at anything anyone else said...

It's nice to know I was right to think Matt was such a goddamn prick.

Good post BlueAngel except I think you are too soft on members there, it was obvious within ten seconds what they were being party to. Good riddance to the lot of them IMO.

In all truth, I did what most of us learn to do when we're using sites like these: pay attention to what interests me and ignore the rest. The race crap wasn't interesting to me. I didn't pay attention to the stuff that got Ice deactivated, don't really know most of the personalities involved, and was there to talk politics and whatnot with Teller.

Nobody who has been critical of "the rest of us" has been willing to answer this: all kinds of nasty shit has been said on the org over the years. Are all of you/us who didn't condemn those comments now guilty by association?

Because I think that is truly ridiculous.
