wine candy Some of my co-workers call Jolly Ranchers "wine candy". Anyone ever heard that before? I don't get it.

On an unrelated note: my father used to give us Japanese candy when we were very young that had sugar on the outside and when you bit down, sake squirted out.
That was a horribly constructed sentence. I mean, like, where is the sun?

That was a horribly constructed sentence. I really don't think alcoholic candy is okay.

That was a horribly constructed sentence. That sounds horrible. ...The candy, not the wine. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Although if you gave me some of those Altoid sours with a drop of whiskey, I wouldn't complain.

I don't think wine in Jolly Ranchers candy would taste good at all. But Jolly Ranchers candy themselves are delicious, especially the watermelon-flavored ones. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I figured maybe "wine candy" was an old skool Chicago thing or something, cuz I'd never heard it before I lived here. We had some jolly ranchers at work recently and someone was like "oh, wine candy!" and everyone else started saying "oh yeah, wine candy!" and I had no idea what was going on, so I took a handful and hoped I would get drunk on the job.
