I'm Planning a Trip to the Big Apple... ...and I need some guidance as to where to go, what to see... can you help me?
I've never been there. I've always wanted to go and experience New York! A Broadway play Times Square ...etc. Any ideas? |

i love it. We are the heat and the light in the forest. Without us this is only a place. With us it becomes an adventure.

i love it. Is the Statue of Liberty open? Thought it was closed after 9/11. For the longest, I've been saying that I want to visit the NY Metropolitan Museum again. I'd also like to walk through Brooklyn Heights, and along the Promenade again, but when the weather gets MUCH warmer. I also used to like walking around the Village years ago.

Or Grand Central station right around 5:30pm.. What fun! [This message was edited Fri Jan 30 7:14:50 PST 2004 by BabyCakes] The day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom - Anais Nin

They have that on a big sign at the airport. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

The Statue of Liberty is definately on my list, open or not... I've seen it in film and television, and it means so much to so many. How could I go to NYC, and not see Lady Liberty?
Thanks for the responses by the way! |

If you plan to stop in Harlem, you should check out this restaurant on 116th & Lenox called Amy Ruth's. Now that's some good old fashioned soul food. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
