I crashed me car today.

Today I started off for school, and about halfway there my windows began freezing over. I thought, uh oh, better pull over, but by the time there was a place that was suitable to do so, the windows were frozen to the point all I could see is that it was bright out. I tried very carefully to move into the right lane, but I turned too sharply and smacked right into the side of a parked van. I could faintly make out a parking spot a couple of feet away from the van, so I pulled into that, but then bumped into the car in front of me, too.

Luckily I did little damage to the van and no damage at all to the second car. The owner of the van was out shoveling at the time, and when I got out he had a total "mother FUCK" look on his face that scared me to death (Not that I would've blamed him for being pissed). He ended up being really nice about it, though, and told me that he was just happy that I didn't get hurt. My car, however lost most of the right side of it's fender and it's right headlight.

While this is the first time the windows have ever frozen up to the degree I couldn't see anything, I'm never leaving the house without heating up my car again. Driving blind like that is a really unnerving and scary experience.

Thanks Endorphin! You're the sweetest.

Heh, yeah, I was out there in the bitter, bitter cold for 30 minutes waiting for the police to come, so that 10 minutes is nothing.

I got a citation for inattentive driving, because even though I couldn't help what happened it really was my fault. The cop said due to the nature of the accident, I probably won't have to pay anything.

good, it's bad enough to have the accident let alone having to pay for a ticket on top of it!

Thanks RD. Yeah, when I stopped I was freaking out because I thought I could've killed someone. I was pretty much blind, so I didn't know what exactly I had hit until I got out.

On a lighter note, I changed the Bowie lyric in my signature to something more appropriate.

If not, I gotta a birthday coming up, so maybe I can con one of my siblings to pay for it as a present.

"Crash into me" lol

lol

When I told the story at school today, I expanded the truth a bit and said I was actually listening to Always Crashing in the Same Car when I got into the accident, and that my last thought before I hit the car was "Wouldn't it be funny if I got into an accident while listening to... BOOM!"

And they were all "Really!?"

And I was all "Yeah!"

And they were all "Reaaalyy!?"

And then I was all "Well no... But that would've been pretty cool, huh?"

It was on the inside of the car, though. If I splashed water all over the inside of my car like that, it'd probably get on me too and make it look like I pissed my pants. And given the choice, would you rather die, or look like you pissed your pants?

That's right, on my gravestone, it's gonna say "Well, at least he didn't piss himself."
