My friend said something about this recently. She thinks that there is usually a hidden agenda on one or both parties side when a friendship continues after a relationship.

I think she may be right...

i'm the opposite. i'm friends with alla my exes . . even after the humping stops the friendship is still there. can't turn that off like a faucet or something cause for me it's not night and day like that

Perhaps I didn't allow for the friendship to develop enough in the first place...

I think there is such a thing as platonic relationships.
I have just never been able to maintain one.
Eventually, the guy starts focuing on the female parts. sigh

Of course Men & Women can be JUST FRIENDS!

My best friend of 11 years is a Male, and our friendship gets stronger each and every day. There is no sexual attraction, hang ups or bullshit involved, just pure friendship.

Personally I prefer not to remain in touch with my ex-boyfriends because it is just too much of a burden & can cause too many head fucks so I prefer to leave the past Dead and Buried.

I understand what your saying but there is a vast difference between thinking about it and doing something about it. Some boundaries are just not meant to be crossed especially if U genuinely value & respect the other party involved.

I find this a strange question. People can be friends with people gender and sexual preference don't matter, it's just that sometimes attraction gets in the way if it doesn't come from both ends.
But I think as long as both people are open, honest and clear about their feelings and intentions and treat each other with respect (which friendship is all about in the first place) then nothing matters (not age, raise, sexuality nor gender).

If you don't agree I think you miss a lot out of live, I think you might have some negative experience, or are you just trying to provoke us? wink

Well My bestfriend is My lover, My woman so i do relaly believe that men and women can b freinds. U can have 'just friends' as well from the opposite sex sure. Buti see no reason y a person from the opp sex cant b ur best friend, or even ur partner in life ... =)
How sweet it is to be loved by U...wink Ur beautiful!!
Sometimes I freak out at how happy we could be...
L.o.m.l.... = U, I would Die For U... wink (u know who u are)

My answer is of course!!! Then again I would answer that because most of my friends are male. lol

I've never really had much of an affinity with the same sex they always seem to annoy me in the end whereas all of me boys are there for me, and you get a certain friendship you can't get with women.

Not saying I hate girls cos I talk to loads of girls and stuff but I jus' trust men more and find them better company... christ knows why rolleyes

lol
JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...
