I love them actually. I would go with my man or just girlfriends. Most men go alone cause they know their
woman wouldnt wanna go with them but sinse I do like
them I would probably be upset if my man went with out me.

If I was in a relationship and my man went to a strip club with his friends it wouldn't be a problem for me.

Strip clubs dont bother me.. If my man wants to go to one, that is fine with me.. BUT Lap dances are a no no.. I dont think they are OK. If your man is attracted to you and he is getting what he needs home, there should be no need for him to have to go to a strip club for a lap dance.. But as far as hangin with the boys and goin to have a beer or 2, I have no problem with that. I know how guys can tease their guy friends with the Pussy whipped comments or the ball and chain comments... I also wouldn't mind goin to a strip club with a group of people.

As far as how I feel about strippers, I really dont have much of an opinion. I dont think it is the most tasteful job or the most honorable job, but ITS A JOB!

i've never been to a strip joint, although i live by several of 'em here in downtown mpls. as for how i feel about 'em, i don't really care.

They're really pretty boring imho.

Even lap dances are boring cos you are not allowed to touch or remove your own pants.

- in this particular place, you had to always be ordering a drink, & even the Cokes were FIVE DOLLARS apeice.. & yes, you had to pay for each 1 - NO refills.
if you want to have the cheap thrill of sliding a dollar bill between the thigh & garter of 1 of the girls, you'd better bring twice the amount of whatever you planned.


- yeah for that moment you're there.. it can be visually stimulating- even "exciting"- to see an attractive woman undress in front of you
(in DC, they essentially "take it all off")
but as a "voyeur" you have to buy into or create your own "fantasy" that this woman is undressing for you &/or that you're going to have sex with her..
(yeah, RIGHT!)


- anyone who's ever been in 1 of these places-
again, even in an "upscale" type joint-
has seen the types of men that typically visit these places. you see men whom you would think are good-looking enough & would never have any trouble meeting women or having at least a girlfriend.. you see those types & you wonder why they are there..
then you also see plenty of the opposite: those men for whom a strip joint is the CLOSEST they'll ever come to having sex- unless they go all the way & pay for it..
in other words, it's easy to develop a "loser by association" complex, because whether you have a significant other or not, you're in there too.


so the sum of my "strip joint experiences"
(there were maybe 5 altogether)
was that it's an "expensive cheap thrill" that will most likely leave you wishing you were with (or had stayed with) you wife or girlfriend.

I can't tell who's degrading themselves more: the women who present themselves as "sexual objects of MALE FANTASY"..
or the (typically) pathetic men who ogle them.
(my guess, off the top of my head: the men. at least the women get some money out of it, but even there.. I'm reaching to find some way- any way- to rationalize this sad scenario..)


the last I went was in '91, as part of a bachelor party. I was about as drunk off my ass as everyone else was, but as soon as we got in that place, I got bored & could not wait to leave. every now & then some buddies I know talk about going; when they ask me, I say "no thank you" before they even finish the question.


okay, if you've never been before, you could probably justify going just once, simply to say that you been there, that you've seen what it's like..

but really:
your time (& money) could be better spent in a LOT of ways.

How do I feel about em? The same way I feel about any other type of 'fantasy' games people play with themselves and each other--fine in moderation, but better to spend more time taking care of, and paying quality attention to, your sex life reality.

Most of the clubs are pretty cheesy, anyway (yes, I've been).
