Never Miss a Chance to Say: "I Love You" Hi all...
A few days ago I learned that an old flame, friend and co-worker was murdered...Chris was 24 and killed along with his mother by his father (who then killed himself)...Chris was a very gentle and harmless soul and it came as a great shock to hear...Chris and I had had a falling out a few years back and had lost contact of each other...A few weeks ago I came across him on gay.com and made ammends for our past differences... Ive sorta been numb the last couple days...I appreciate all the humor and distractions this place has given me...Now I dont share this news for sympathy or what not...I just wanted to remind everyone of the importance of showing appreciation to your loved ones...I am so thankful that after almost four years of silence Chris and I were able reconnect...And while my heart goes out to his sister who is now all alone in this world I am thankful to have had Chris in my life... We tend to live fast lives now...We tend to be more bitter towards each other...More cold...cynical...quick to knock another down...Do your best to prove that humanity still exists...Online, in reality...to your family and friends and neighbors...and to those you have lost contact with. You just never know what tomorrow will bring. So live today for all its worth...

Gem, this is horrible news and I'm sorry for you and the sister to have to deal with the aftermath of one's sick and reckless actions. I am however happy that you had the chance to make peace before he left us. I know how important that is.

well...im off to sleep..a lil drunk...a lil nervous about the services that take place tomorrow...
i just wanted to point out that i was able to raise over $1400 bucks. A HUGE CHUNK OF THAT came from the org!! Its wierd..First I cried for from pain. Then I cried from joy... People fucking rock man!! Even with all the drama we have in life we all still know how to love... Special love to Bryon. He knows why... Night night all!! Space for sale... | |

i'm so sorry to hear of your loss...i can't imagine the pain you must be feeling. my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Christophers sister. sometimes i really believe it IS a cruel and senseless world of violence and betrayal we live in...
