I only publicly embarrass myself for you, shausler.

"One cream and two sugars,"
his quiet voice said
with two polite hand gestures
and a nod of his head

Fog rolling over the pavement
to New York From France
Our elusive sun rises
endless march, humans and ants.

Looking down on his coffee
ever so slightly amazed
"I meant to ask for black."
Already one of those days.

Some souls demand attention
Fire and ice from their eyes
while this genius is quite satiated
safely hidden is his disguise.

This poem is utter crap
Hope his awareness can rise above
The ultimate reason why I wrote this:
For you, we have only love.

We love you, shausler. Thanks for continuing to bleed for us when all we ask you is for "more, more more".
