All About Eve---Any Fans Of This Movie? I used to hate the guts of this movie back when I was young(and also the fact that my mother loved the movie so much) becoz 4 one thang, I didn't understand it at all and it looked pretty complicated.
But as I grew I understood it mo' and mo'(being a story from a WOMAN's prespictive). Bette Davis AKA Margo Channing was(and is) the coolest white chic that eva walked on this planet. I just loved her role in this flick, nobody I could think of could do this justice as she did. Its shoulda been called All About Margo! Does anybody STILL dig this movie? | |

homegirl tried to take Margo's career and her friend betraying her but having to clam up about it

The DVD got nothing new but the trailor which also includes a brief footage of a reporter interviewing Miss Bette Davis. What a blast from the past! How can I review this shit when somebody askes me to? I def don't know how! The whole thang is just flawless, from the casting to the screenplaying. I heared that Margo Channing was a curse and a blessing 4 Bette Davis, it was a blessing becoz Margo IS Bette(both women are aries lol) and a curse becoz every writer wanted to put Bette Davis in that Margo Channing's box 4ever and Bette wanted to try new and different thangs. LOL But I truely see myself in that Margo, bitch whenever she wants to but STILL with a heart of gold. | |
