Open to allcomers ... one user name As anyone who knows me well will know, I hate goodbye threads. I hate it when people say they're leaving only to emerge a few days or weeks later with the same or different user name but the same issues.  So I apologise for this thread. Let it sink if you're of the same mind as me - I don't want it to become a dramatic goodbye ... I just wanted to inform everyone of my intentions.
Having been a member of the Prince online community since 1996, I feel it's time for me to move on. I'm deleting my account (something I never thought I'd do) and so the name Raspberry is open to anyone who wants to use it. Once my account has gone (I assume 7 days) it won't be me using it anymore, so anybody who'd like to stay in touch is advised to send me an email now which I'll respond to, so you have my email address. (Please don't assume I have your email addy, as I lost my contact list a few weeks ago). I'm not leaving because of anything that's happened here. I want to spend less time online. I want to grieve for my beloved friend and companion (to those of you who've expressed sympathy in my last thread I give my profound and sincere thanks) and I want to concentrate on rebuilding the relationship I wrecked a few years ago by having an affair with someone I met online. (For those of you who've kept track of my private affairs, I will probably remarry him at some stage ... hopefully this year). So, I have decided to leave. I really will miss most (if not all) of you. I'll miss being the one who's been permanently confused over all these years, and I'll miss the friends I won't have a chance to make by not being a part of this community anymore. I'll miss the banter and the humour, but most of all I'll miss the dear old friends I've known since the Hammer days. Anyway, this is turning into a tearful goodbye for me and I didn't want that. wow...i'm really gonna miss you, ras. you were one of the first people i met and made friends with when i first came to the org (back when i was always in the chatroom...goodtimes  ). take care!

Aww shit! You are definitely a bright light in this place. I know we haven't spoken much, but I really like and respect you.
