I didn't like that too much. I thought Mallrats was better.

I keep walking by that at the video store. I was afraid it would be cheesy. Is it like 9-1/2 weeks?

Hmmm, I didn't think it was cheesy...Maggie Gyllenhall (sp?) was AWESOME in it and James Spader was as gross as he can be...

I thought the character development was good enough to outweigh the sexul antics in the film, it all worked for me!

there have been threads about both House of Yes and Secretary in the last month or so -- maybe they were in the same thread -- high marks for both from most people. I recommend them both.

Also...

Just watched The Pianist a couple of weeks ago. OH MY GOD. Great movie, but really really depressing. I've never had to stop watching a movie because it made me depressed. I had to watch it over 2 days.

I felt guilty for eating popcorn during that movie. disbelief When they all have to split that caramel, I was like, damn. Then after the movie I just felt sooo unworthy of trying to create music. That movie fucked with my head BAD. But I feel much better now!
