Janfriend, I dreamt of trains... and an old friend who I have not seen since 1992. What does this mean?

What happened in the dream exactly? Is was an indoor railyard of sorts (if that makes any sense). Almost like a giant warehouse full of train cars. My friend worked there and I was following him around while he worked. I almost got a sense that he was training me or sizing me up for the job. I've had similar dreams like this before.

ok, here's what I got:
Trains usually have to do with career choices, he/she is either being evaluated for work or is evaluating career paths, but he's/she's not yet out of the gate. He/She may be a devoted type of person who charges ahead and stays the course once he's/she's set to a task or decided on a path - like a train on a rail. The friend that appears in the dream may relate to the type of work your he/she is considering, and may be an expression of him/her sizing himself/herself up. This may cause feelings of anxiety - question of his/her qualifications. Is he/she up to the task? Is more training needed in his/her areas of particular interest? He/She should consider how much he/she is leaving to chance and whether he/she is taking authority over his/her own direction. Hope this helps
