KAMILLE, some clarification please...

i just purchased Evil Dead Box Set, i have seen ED I and ED II, yet to see ED III. However, is the first 10/15 minutes of ED II a prequel to ED I? confuse

...it didnt make sense, i thought the professor who translated the Book Of The Dead died before Ash got to the cabin in ED I

Evil Dead II is basically an (unofficial) remake of Evil Dead according 2 both Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell.
A lot of similarities between the 2, but still worthy in their own right.

REAL good 2 have ya back Ardeo - did ya get the 'Book of The Dead' box set? (The one that comes in a rubber packaging mimicking the book of the dead seen in the films? demon

3) I've got to be honest, I've only seen #2 so far.
I asked for 1 and 3 for Christmas but didn't get them. (However my birthday is next week so fingures crossed)

To make evil dead more confusing there are 2 versions of 'Evil dead' and 2 versions or 'Evil dead 3' (different cuts)

I'm asuming that the original versions are in the box sets but there are some directors cuts avalible. Guess I'm gonna have to watch them all wink

me thinks it's a japanese flick, but i've only seen the cover, anyone seen it? is it anything to do with Evil Dead?

I always took the beginning of 2 as a heavily and unnecessarily altered refresher of part 1, especially since it's narrated by BC.

I've seen this to. It often comes up when I'm looking Evil dead up on Google. As far as I know it has nothing to do with Evil dead. (I think I checked the directors and acters names once.)

I reckon it's either a coincidence or a cheap rip off. Not sure.
