Think I'll watch it again tonight. Watching these so-called reality tv shows I'm starting to sense even more when editing occurs and just how much producers manipulate the outcome.

Last week on "The Apprentice" the little guy was the biggest kiss-up. He even admitted that he wanted to be Trumps buddy. So, all night we see him either on his hands and knees, or addressing the Donald with "Yes, Mr. Trump". The worst, was when he tried to wheel and deal like the big boys, thinking he was smooth enough to sell a cup of lemonade for $1000! Give me a break. He definitely got a lot of face time.

So of course, this guy gets spared another week; he brings the drama. They're not cutting him loose just yet. (Okay, I've probably just jinxed him tonight.)

I'm watching it now. They have to come up with an ad campaign for an airline. The girls are going with this phallic symbol idea. Hmmm. Donnie Deutsch has to respond it the teams ideas. As part of a communication design class I took last spring we had to go to discussion he gave at the school. He's responsible for some really high profile ads. One that stands out is the Snapple ad where bottles of Snapple are dressed like and act like actual people. (I really hate that ad.) Anyway, for a heads up I think the teams should've done a little research into Deutsch's ad agency and the kind of campaigns they've designed for some insight.

It's interesting but the problem is the prize : a 250 000 $ job with Donald Trump. That's not a lot of money as far as these reality shows go, and Trump is more envied than admired by the average person. That's his tacky version of corporate culture. Seriously, I doubt the girls phallic campaign would actually be successful. It won because the other campaign was so bland and generic.

After the girls won, they were showing the guys eating at home and the girls flying to Boston to eat in a nice restaurant. It was supposed to be a contrast, but there was none for me. I've eaten in fancy restaurants and flown in planes, and it just isn't a big deal. I really doubt that the average person would cream their pants for this reward. It comes off as a lot of work and trouble for something that's not such a big deal, unless you get off on status symbols and have multiple orgasms just thinking of champagne and caviar.

Guess I didn't jinx the "little" guy Sam. I think the producers think viewers will enjoy watching him squirm week after week. So he might be around for a while, though I don't see him winning the big money, but you never know. He was really annoying when he asked the team leader to "give me something to work with" meaning he wanted some idea about who he was going to offer up for firing.

The "little guy" has a name...SAM.

I agree, the producers are keeping him around because
he makes for good TV. I mean, what boss would've kept
him after seeing him fall asleep inspite of their
deadline??? He's a riot!
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Sam is a heroin addict. Have you looked at his eyes? He should have gotten voted off - I'm sorry but in that kind of powerful job isn't it unacceptable to fall asleep on the job???

Anyway, I am hooked on the show...the girls are so catty. I can't decide which one I like yet.

Yes...Sam is gone!

The girls seem like they're in trouble next week too. thumbs up!

They are really taking it down a notch by using
their, um, "charms", to get what they need. I mean,
a song and dance for $10...

Omarisa will be next...
