Superman's DOG Gets his own animated series??? Krypto Animated Series Greenlit Source: Comics2Film Saturday, January 10, 2004 Comics2Film reports that an animates series based on Superman's dog Krypto has been greenlit... A highly reliable source in the animation industry tells Comics2Film that Warner Bros. Animation has greenlit a TV series starring Superman's dog Krypto. The show will be for younger viewers. Comics2Film first broke the news of a planned "Krypto" animated show back in May when we interviewed Cartoon Network chief Sam Register. Our source today was unclear whether or not the show was still targeted at Cartoon Network, Kids WB! or some other outlet. Oh, why the hell not - they've soaked every other last tendril of the Superman franchise dry, might as well beat the dead dog.

Actually, in Post-Crisis continuity, its Superman who has Krypto. Clark Kent, in modern continuity, had no career as Superboy. That's only in Silver-age, pre-Crisis coninuity. the thing that was great about the recent resurgence of superhero stuff on TV and in movies was that it was sans bullshit like Krypto, Bat-Mite, the Wonder Twins, etc. "oPS i HITTED THE CAPDLOCK"

They really run with the concept that he is a dog, with all the abilities of Superman, so he's quite dangerous!
