i've just come back home from teaching dance to a group of 30 nine year olds. damn...teachers really have to scream these days...kids just don't listen. lucky i had the teacher doing the screaming...not me!
i've done loads of workshops in the past...but today i was like

kids are so curious, maybe it would help to speak quietly and let them slowly settle down to hear you/ the teacher speaking

or not. i don't know. kids freak me out

oh i handled em...i just freaked out later!!!
the teacher actually apologised to me cos they were so bad. apparently it "been a hard week"... must be the moon or something. i got another group on fri...but i've been told they are better.

it is really amazing how loud these teachers were shouting. i felt bad for them until i saw what they were like. i'm not a fan of shouting...and they did listen to ne...in between the teacher shouting at them.
it ended well though..they danced lovely

is that a group od thirty nine years old, or a group thirty kids, nine years old?

it isn't great but what about the alternative? Kids being taught to simply obey authority no matter what, like in the 50's?
