This spell is the one my maternal grandmother (and mother) performed. Notice the Roman Catholic influence!
"It is the most natural thing in the world that there should be certain blendings, compromises, and points of affinity between the Stregheria - witchcraft, or "old religion" founded on the Etruscan or Roman mythology and rites - and the Roman Catholic: both were based on magic, both used fetishes, amulets, incantations, and had recourse to spirits. In some cases these Christian spirits or saints corresponded with, and were actually derived from, the same source as the heathen. The sorcerers among the Tuscan peasantry were not slow to perceive this." Charles Leland - Etruscan Roman Remains, 1892 To Cure Malocchio To test if illness is from natural causes, pour 3 drops oil one atop the other in a bowl of water. If they remain together: STOP. If the drops separate or smear across the surface of the water then do as follows: Take two sewing needles and insert the tip of one into the eye of the other and say: Occhio e malocchio e cornicelli agli occhi, crepa la invidia e schiattono gli occhi. Lunedi Santo, Martedi Santo, Mercoledi Santo, Giovedi Santo, Venerdi Santo, Sabato Santo, e Domenica di Pasqua, il malocchio casca! Then drop needles into the water on top of the oil drops. Sprinkle 3 pinches of salt into the water. Jab scissors into the water 3 times thru the oil drops. Take scissors and cut the air above the bowl 3 times. The spell is broken.

It's true...let's just stop talking to him...what do you say? Sweeney? Are you with us? I like talking to him too much! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Your claim is good for workman's comp. Time off from injury, plus pain and suffering. A twisted ankle is good for $1000 - $5000.

Being an "EXPERT" in workers comp (Aussie style) I can say that you have done all the right things. You have reported the incident to your boss and have arranged to see your doctor asap.
Medical expenses can really build up for even seemingly minor injuries so dont be shy about making a claim. I hope all goes well. take care sweetie When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

I think I'm rocking a sprained ankle and two sprained wrists. Also, I have various muscle aches. We'll see how things go. Here there is a special workman's comp clinic that I can go to and it will be directly billed to my companies insurance company. So, I'll have no expenses.

I went to the doc today...no broken bones...but, I have a sprained ankle and wrist (air cast and a brace) and multiple contusions.
I guess I do bruise (and sue) easily
