Should I feel guilty that I think Jesus is hott ? We'll never really know what Jesus looks like really, but from the pictures I've seen so far I think Jesus was hott !! Should I feel guilty for this ?

Considering that the popular image of Jesus is not even remotely accurate, I think you're okay. We don't know for certain what he looked like, but we do have a few facts:
1)The Jews at the time, in his region of the world, did not have long hair. 2)They all wore beards 3)Due to the climate, he would have had dark skin (similar to modern-day Middle Eastern people). 4)He would have had a strong physique, growing up as a carpenter. In other words, he wouldn't have even remotely resembled the long-haired, fair shinned, skinny European of Rennaisance artwork. So go ahead and drool over that guy that you think is hot, since its only a fantasy representation of Jesus anyway (for that matter, his name wasn't even Jesus. That's actually a bastardization of his real name, Y'shua). Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. Actually I learned Michanlego was the artist that got this ideal Jesus stuck in people's heads and the person who posed for that painting was his cousin. So Micheangelo's counsin was hott ! artist edit [This message was edited Tue Jan 20 7:22:22 PST 2004 by LeGrind007]

Jesus of the People
Janet McKenzie, Jesus 2000 winning artist "Jesus of the People" simply came through me. I feel as though I am only a vehicle for its existence. Jesus stands holding his robes, one hand near his heart, and looks at us — and to us. He is flanked by three symbols, the yin-yang symbol representing perfect balance, the halo conveying Jesus’ holiness and the feather symbolizing transcendent knowledge. The feather also refers to the Native American and the Great Spirit. The feminine aspect is served by the fact that although Jesus was designed as a man with a masculine presence, the model was in fact a woman. The essence of the work is simply that Jesus is all of us. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista
