What happened to Iyall is an all too common story, unfortunately. It's all bullshit sexism.

It happened to Ann Wilson of Heart, and it happened to Martha Wash. And you can best believe there is a longer list than just those three. It's not a coincidence that Janet Jackson's weight fluctuates and she slims down in time for new videos to promote her newest albums.

Had Missy Elliot not started out as a successful songwriter she would have had the same fate as Iyall - but don't think the stiff suits don't nag her (or someone that knows her to convince her) to slim down.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

That was an awesome episode. I really didn't think Romeo Void would reunite. It was kinda sad to see that their original saxaphonist, Benjamin Bossi couldn't play with them. It's not that he didn't want to play with them, he couldn't play because of his hearing loss. sad

But the rest of the crew got back together and put together some of that good old New Wave magic.

Yeah, that was kinda foul of the record company to just stop promoting Romeo Void just because of Debora's looks. But it just goes to show how cruel the industry could be or has been.

Still it was a great show. clapping headbang

She fucking rocks! I love her attitude. I found her very genuine and cool. The episode was truly heartwarming.

I'm glad that I got into them just in time to fully appreciate tonight's show. I hadn't even heard of them until a few months back.

I love her style and wish they'd get back together for good.

We watched it along with the Berlin episode after.

Romeo Void! I liked the show. It was great to see them reform the band.

I also really liked the Berlin episode that followed...

Alot of good stuff. Alot of great memories... thumbs up!
