How bad the pain is depends upon the type of skin a person has. The more sensitive your skin, the more painful it is. For most people, it doesn't just "tickle" or "slightly pinch". I've known women to BLEED after having particularly thin skin waxed (i.e., underarm). After waxing the vaginal area, the tissue is usually swollen to several times its size, and a woman usually can't have sex for a few days until the swelling and tenderness goes away. Sometimes she has to ice it.

They usually recommend that you work your way up to a Brazilian.

I personally think it's a bit creepy to have almost no hair down there like a little girl. We were meant to have some hair there...but maybe if my man was willing to get his scrotum/bikini area waxed, then I'd do it. Until then, though, an electric razor/regular razor do just fine.
