Sperm donor privacy ... Children in Britain born from donated sperm could soon be given the right to trace their biological fathers.
What are your views? If you are a guy who has, or would, donate sperm would you think twice before donating if you knew you could be contacted by any children produced as a result? | |

Yes. it would definitly affect my decision.
Unless I choose otherwise, I should have the right to stay anonymous. I don't get to know or choose who uses my sperm. should be the other way around to. they shouldn't know me either, unless both sides agree on giving away their identities. | |

Funnily enough, I was a doner and a friend of mine who writes for the local paper asked me if she could interview me about this topic.
My feeling is, if a kid over the age of 18 wants to know, then fair enough. My only worry would them having a financial claim over me (because I'm so broke!). The idea of them knocking on my door in 13 years time doesn't bother me at all. Might even get a pint out of them (of beer!)
