Holy fuck! That really is a statue of Mel Gibson! In plaster! Some people don't seem to understand that films losely based on historical events for entertainment purposes are just that - entertainment not education. I remember reading the storey in the papers about some guy in Edinburgh getting tanked up while watching 'Braveheart' 3 times in a row. He then went and painted his face like Mel Gibson and went into the town centre. He attacked some fat, middle-aged English tourist crying "Freedom". Fucking priceless!
