I like it too. Smelled a bit too much of Hollywood sanitization, but I thought it was a decent effort.

damn it, i needd to see this. entertainment weekly gave it a pretty good review and a B+

The jury is out. It's not perfect, but I think it's measurably better than most of the gaysploitation that's out there. Typically, the complaint is that they "made us TOO gay-acting." This time the complaint is that they "made us too straight-acting." I say lighten up and just see where the series goes.
