YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Ten months after she stripped during a wet T-shirt contest on vacation as a prank, WKBN news anchor Catherine Bosley was forced to resign after photographs of her strip turned up on the Internet.

WKBN news director Gary Coursen said in a public letter to viewers that the incident compromised the station's integrity and professionalism. "I did not sign on to run a tabloid news department, and the employees of WKBN News did not sign on to work at one," he wrote. "And I will not have one of my main anchors the feature attraction at bachelor parties."

Apparently, the station was hit with a small barrage of charges that Bosley had been fired arbitrarily, because Coursen's open letter criticized that barrage. "WKBN has done nothing, we did not dance nude, nor did we fire Catherine, yet we have somehow come out as the bad guys," he said. "I take responsibility for the decision to accept Catherine’s resignation, and it is a decision I would make again. I deeply regret the situation, and I hope the community can put this very unfortunate incident behind us, that we all learn a lesson from it, and we move on."

I think there ain't nothing wrong with getting naked. If your pics end up on the net that's a real bumer, but it ain't no reason to quit your job.
