I seem to get along better with men than I do women, why is that. are we women really that evil?

I've commented on this topic before, and a couple of female ORgers were offended. So before I basically say exactly what I said before again, please remember: this is just my opinion, based upon studies I've read on the topic, or personal experience. If what I say doesn't apply to you, that's cool. I'm not saying ALL women or people think/feel this way, or that they should.

I believe many women who don't get along with other women didn't get or give much respect for/from their mothers. Many of them had mothers who were competitive with their daughters for their father's time/attention, or their mothers were jealous of the youth of their daughters, and taught their daughters (by example) that other women were bitchy and only to be suspicious of.

I also think many (straight) women who feel this way have a need for male approval and companionship. I think many of them were "Daddy's Girls" and view men as being more protective and giving them what they need.

On a related topic, I've noticed quite a few Orgers, male and female, who respond very differently to offensive/aggressive posts from the opposite gender. I think (straight) men and women tend to be "nicer" and more submissive or flirtatious with someone they (consciously or subconsciously) view as someone to flirt with or a potential sex partner. In other words--I think we're often nicer to the people we feel (or COULD feel) attracted to...

Just some thoughts...
