It was my last job and it was complete bullshit. At the moment I made sure it can't happen again unless I fire myself.

Once, I was 18 and working at a restaurant. I was giving free pizzas to my buddies and skimming some $$$ off the register and got caught.

The manager, whom I really liked personally - and he me, caught me red handed and called me into the back. He was heart broken... he was warned that I was doing this from an annonymous letter (but, I knew who), and just waited for me to fuck myself. He was very emotional when he fired me... but I deserved it. I cried all the way home.

Second time: Another restaurant. I was 22 and the Assistant Manager. Some friends (and yours truly) stayed after closing and proceeded to get pretty drunk on the kegs of beer. My big mistake - keeping one of the underaged employees around and letting him get drunk. He went home, his parents found out and called the manager... I was fired by phone! Nastily and rudely! I never liked the bastard of a manager anyway, and was only working there part time! I had a better job full time anyway!

So that's it. Both when I was really young. Still, the sting of rejection (while deserved in both cases) still feels fresh when remembered. Moreso on the first one, cuz like I said, I really liked and respected the guy, yet I didn't realize that I was directly disrespecting him by doing what I was doing... the second, eh... it was just beer. But thinking back, so much more could have happened, especially to that minor!
