my cat is making the wierdest noises in her sleep!

this weird grunting and half meows... is this normal?

i have never had a cat that does this before

i think it's normal, my Christian sometimes moves like he is in shock.

i have been told i talk in my sleep, but many, she sounded like the ghost of walter matthau was possessing her!

smile kitties are so cute. however do be aware that the "snoring" sound may be due to fat around the throat if the cat is overweight. difficulty breathing can get worse, and weight makes it more difficult for the cat to move, making the kitty unhappy. also heart disease from excess weight cuts their lifespan. if you can't feel your cat's ribs easily by touching that area of it's body, you should take it to your veterinarian.
