Ethiopia - a journey with Michael Burke

Just watched one of most amazing and moving documentaries on bbc tv. there is currently a live discussion (its great...not an online chat) talking about the issues raised on the programme.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/h...324089.stm

the live discussion link is on the "see also" bit.

apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

I am watching it right now... it's painful to see, to know their position is nothing I could ever comprehend unless I lived it...

David Bowie was incredible! I liked Madonna's performance too!

i don't think you should judge performers who weren't there. many people give to charity anomousely and of their own accord.
thats how i believe charity should be given.
live aid was a completely different experience...who knows why they wern't there. i did not think even consider it.
