So, you think you're getting underpaid for what you do? Believe it or not, you're in the minority. 53% of Americans think they're paid what they deserve.
I'm thinking I should get a job at the Bunny Ranch...

What do you do? I know you work in a law firm are you a lawyer? I'm a paralegal, but i do EXACTLY the same thing as a lawyer. Lawyers in personal injury work in Australia never do there own Court appearances, which is the only thing I cant do. We brief barristers to appear in Court but we investigate and prepare all the cases. It sounds interesting but it's high pressured and bores me silly at the same time. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Luckily, I'm pretty good at what I do I get paid the same as a qaulified lawyer (employee) of the same experience. More or less anyway. The only benefit of me going to school to get a law degree and admission would be if I wanted partnership in the firm (which is where the big money is i.e $400,000 plus). However, i have no desire for that pressure or to work 80 hours a week and not have a life doing something I hate. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

It is mostly women who work in the area, and most do it because they care, or they love it.
