It's not the sergery that's crule, it's asking him. "Excuse me love, would you mind having your nose cut open for me." How would U like it if he asked you for a boob job so he could sleep better at night.

No offence sweets, but it's a little rude to demand that of him. If my girl asked me to do that I'd be kind of offended!

Well, first of all, as I explained, it's snipping some tissue at the back of the throat, not "having your nose cut open". And comparing a cosmetic surgery like a boob job to this is ludicrous, they are not at all alike! You've obviously never been sleep-deprived for days at a time, Kamille. It (snoring/driving your partner to sleep in the other room) can literally make or break a relationship.

hug you know the score.

I'd like to think that wasn't true.

Sorry Sammy. I guess I just don't like the idea of surgery. I don't think it's regarded as a medical problem, but if it means you can sleep peacefully with a guy U like then I reckon it's worth calling BUPA for. wink

hon i ain't dememded anything...yet.i never even considered surgery.
yeah and he would probably like bigger boobs to rest his head on at night wink...but my lack in the chest department ain't recking his sleep.

whats the problem is that he does not see the problem his snoring is causing.
sleepless nights are not nice.

but wouldn't you consider snoring a medical problem?

It IS a medical problem--sleep studies have shown that people who snore wake themselves up frequently during the night (although they don't realize it) and don't get as much sleep, or as restful a sleep.

I think if a women gets a boob job it should be her choice, if a man asks that's just plain rude. A woman should be loved for what and who she is.

sigh I do...

I've read that sometimes a person just losing weight helps them stop snoring--extra pounds contribute to the problem.

Have him try those Breathe-Right strips and/or the throat spray--they say snoring is often from a dry throat or blocked nasal passages.

Maybe he denies it because he's embarrassed. But if he sees you suffering, yet still refuses to even listen to you or try anything to keep you in his bed--well, you've got to wonder how much he cares about your well-being, hon, and how much respect is there?

I hadn't thought about the lack of sleep thing. That is true. And sleepy people are just as dangerous on the road as drunk drivers, if not more dangerous, new information shows.
