not only is HE an idiot, but so's she... first of all, is she even still a U.S. citizen? second, the only reason she's supporting him, is because he came to talk to her. had Howard Dean or Joseph Lieberman taken 5 minutes to talk to her first, would she be trumpeting them? third, does she not see how transparent he is? several weeks ago, his campaign had announced that he was going to bypass campaigning in the states where the first several primaries were taking place, and would instead go to Hollywood to get celebrity endorsements. i guess he found a sucker. edit--- oh, and for the first several people that jump on me for being some conservative republican against free speech... cram it. i'm more liberal than probably 90% of the people on this board, but there are 2 things (out of many) that i really hate: 1) Wesley Clark and 2) celebrities (ANY CELEBRITIES) giving political opinions (on either side... fuck you too, Tom Selleck and Patricia Heaton). today i'm sad to be a Madonna fan co-sign. it's quite pathetic. and for me, Madonna put the mad in Madartista. I have a Madonna tattoo. I study Kabbalah. I'm ALL ABOUT the Madonna worship. And yes, THIS is a sad day. is Patricia Heaton a Republican? I always thought she was a bitch, and couldn't put my finger on it! http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Well, I for one agree with her endorsement! He can fight vampires, foil jet highjackings, play basketball and still be in touch with his feminie side enough to go cross-dressing with John Leguisamo and Patrick Swayze! This is a man who is multi-faceted, and would truly make a great president!!!
What? Wesley CLARK??? Oh, nevermind... Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Aaron and Madartista,I can't see why you guys are so upset/disappointed with Madonna. She's never really been afraid to voice her opinion on any issue,so why should this be any different? A presidential election is a big deal and,to be honest,I like knowing where my favorite artists stand on important issues. It's not really gonna influence MY decision either way,but still,it's nice to hear their views.
btw,in 1992,Madonna unoffically endorsed Bill Clinton. She was quoted as saying "He's sexy",so I guess that counts as an endorsement?

historically, Madonna has voiced her opinion about things she's qualified to talk about. in 2003, she didn't. and 2004 isn't shaping up to be much better for her in that regard. "oPS i HITTED THE CAPDLOCK"
