First of all I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to download our New Funk Order cd. Over 2000 hits have been recorded on just one of the tracks! I hope you are all enjoying the awesome music that we have given from our hearts.

Our mp3s have been up at newfunkorder.com for about 9 months. (Interesting... 9 months) Ben was really supportive of our project, which started here in the org musician’s hangout forum. He was gracious enough to offer us a feature spot on the home page of Prince.org. (Thank you Ben!) Ever since that feature went up, our traffic has SKYROCKETED! Which is great, but we had nooo idea it would be sooo much! My track alone has had about 1000 downloads and BigThing's track has had about 2000. 1000 per track is about the download average, judging by the statistics.

Anyway, I just wanted to make a formal anouncement that the reason you are getting this message: “Account for domain newfunkorder.com has been suspended” is because since the Org feature went up, we have gone WAY over our traffic limit by 50 Gigabytes! And since we were'nt expecting it, they are shutting our site down until the next billing cycle starts. This is an unexpected problem, and a blessing at the same time.

So please be patient while we work this out. We will be back up by the end of next week. Meanwhile, enjoy the tunes and if you’d like to help us out (and supports the arts) take a lookie over here: http://www.cafeshops.com/newfunkorder
We are going to look into a more reasonable hosting service. Also, if anyone has ideas for sponsors and how to go about hooking that up, please let us know. We are also thinking about grant proposals, but this all takes time.
