I sent him a package of PJ Harvey discs I made for Christmas and what does he do?

Turns around and sends me like 50 mix discs in return with a great description of all of them.

See, that's the thing. I always focus on one artist like the cd's I made for him. i.e. PJ Harvey b-sides or my Bjork box set, etc. I've totally lost sight of the mix disc. I used to be great with making mix tapes and had a lot of fun with it. But I'd forgotten how cool it can be since I got into cd burning.

yeah, i lost touch of the whole remix concept because I don't have a burner. last year, a friend invited me to do a remix disc for a web project he was organizing, and I had a blast. I love choosing songs that I love and deciding how they best fit together. Sadly, I haven't done another since. I gotta get back into that!

I LOVE Richard...he did something similar 4 me, and it was during a time I was feeling pretty low.

He sent a reaaally(!) long letter with it, and im STILL wading thru the discs...

He's somebody I feel proud 2 know.
