OK who's so cheap & lame they have to buy this stuff to get high & hallucinate?

My first year of college, a bunch of my friends announced we were going to have what they called "a poping weekend", in which everyone would be getting trashed on Robitussin.

I have no idea why they called it "poping", but they did.

I attended the chug-a-lug launch party as a spectator, not as a participant. About 90% of the popers puked it back up within a couple of hours. Another spectator and I wound up babysitting one of the surviving popers for the rest of the weekend, due to the fact that he thought he was our pet dinosaur, and demanded we take him on walks across campus and let him (pretend to) sleep on the floor in our dorm rooms.

Ah, to be 18 and dumb again...

...guess I'll have to make do with 33 and dumb...

we did in high school when we couldn't get alcohol or weed

Me too! On new Years Eve I played Bingo, got home 30 minutes before midnight, parked the car and walked to a bar. I had invites to go trapsing all over LA but was totally freaked out at the thought of driving around on New Years Eve. What a difference a decade makes..

I never knew this was so popular. I didn't learn kids get high on Robitussen until college, and I was disgusted... why Robitussen when Dimetapp tastes SO much yummier?

I used to chug half a bottle of NyQuil to come down off a speed high. It sucked and I was a sluggish zombie for the next two days.

Acid goes for about 5 bucks a hit around here but its not easy to find, and people sell you fake shit all the time.

People also tweak out on overdosing on Sudafed.

I sadly was a RoboMaster, back in my crazy raver days of 17-19

I had a few friends who partook in this zaniness with me, so at least I wasn't alone...we were known as the RoboRavers

Why did we do it? Because you need a day or 2 between LSD trips, and we refused to go a day or 2 between hallucinations...

I hate to admit it, but it was quite fun. Like tripping your ass off while being so drunk you can't stand. OK, it sounds horrible now, but at the time it was FUN

My favorite was doing sommersaults on Robo...

Also, smoke enough weed and you lose enough blood the your frontal lobes that you think you're dreaming. That happened to me last month and I haven't blazed since. Tho that could all change, since I wouldn't get so freaked out now I know what happened - I seriously thought I was dead - killed in a car crash in fact, and that my friends hadn't seen me. I thought I was a ghost following my friends. I also found out I fell asleep while I was walking back to my house, but kept on walking and crossing roads and stuff .

how it felt...it felt like my eyes were closed and I was dreaming, but in reality my eyes were WIDE open (so wide I thought I'd never blink again)...sounds became incredibally distorted as did vision, everything trails and things get quite confusing...One night, I was laying next to a friend and we decided we were a hotdog with mustard and started crying cos we wanted to be a hotdog with ketchup...When we realized we weren't a hotdog we laughed for what felt like hours...My legs tended to feel like rubber and I always walked like a duck (but somehow I still managed to dance at the raves...) Dizziness was common but it's kinda fun. Oh yeah, vomiting was often a good thing as long as I kept it down for a while...it made me feel light when I "purged"

ummm, that's how I remember it! And seriously, the first time I did it (and I had tripped A LOT by this point) I was scared for a long time that I had really damaged something and would never be normal again...once I did come down and knew I was okay, I was hooked








and now I'm gonna go hide

have you ever heard Chris Rock's memories of Robitussen? it so friggin' funny i almost pissed myself!

he remembers his dad putting Robitussen on everything. if you had a broken arm, he'd put Robotussen on it. if you had zits, he'd put Robitussen on it.
