Help me name a club night My best friend and I have decided to start up a club night after the success and fun of our last couple of DJ dates.
Now, he doesn't really like Prince (yet!) but, well, u know I do! So, I wanted to give the night a Prince-related name but nothing that he would recognise as Prince. Bear in mind the only Prince songs he knows are:- Purple Rain-era singles Sign O The Times Alphabet Street/Lovesexy Dirty Mind So anything else is fair game. I was thinking maybe:- Uptown Controversy Scandalous Let's Work Can anyone come up with any better ones before I meet him later to discus a name? Anyway, we had our meeting 2day, as we're approaching the venue 2morrow. I first suggested "Controversy" and he said "No, that's Prince". However, he loved "Uptown" and that's what it'll be called if we get it off the ground! Huddersfield town centre. I'm gonna give the venue we DJ'ed at on NYE a buzz tommorow & try and talk them into letting us back. They gave us NYE and we filled it, so I don't c why they wouldn't, they've not really established any nights there yet, apart from a monthly hardhouse night. Hopefully, they'll give us a Saturday in February (though obviously I won't take the 7th!)
