I meant support in the general sense. They deserve our audience! But there is also NFO merchandise we could buy.

Let me reiterate: NFO has hooked us up with the website, message board, cafe press site, etc. We hope to generate enough income to repay him AND keep it all going for years to come! No one involved in the NFO will make any money from NFO merchandise. We do this because we love it and we believe in the freedom of music on all levels.

Y'all know you want some of this!

New Funk Order website outage.
Just got off the phone with the "billing dept" for http://hostica.com and they cannot do anyting for me. The "tech support dept" can but has not returned my calls or e-mail just yet.

The billing dept was able to tell me this: It seems that there server has a saftey feature that shuts the site down when we reach over 50GB of traffic (thinking that something is wrong for that kind of traffic). Today, we reached 52.1 GB (in just a few weeks, I might add). For those that don't know, that's A WHOLE LOT OF FRICKIN DOWNLOADS!

So a mixed blessing so to speak.

What to do? When I hear something, I'll post it here. In the mean time, consider the NFO pretty popular for that kinda traffic. Our billing cycle ends on the 18th and the counter will be set back to zero. I'm not saying that it will be down until the 18th, but until I can work out some sort of resolution with tech support, we are down.

I appologize for the poop but it's out of my hands.

Truly a mixed blessing. I want to thank everyone for their interest and support. 50 Gigs of downloads is quite amazing in 2 weeks.

I wish I could access the nfo message board to copy the stats... sad

BigThing's track has gotten about 2000 downloads in 2 weeks, I got about 1000. This has been a direct result of placing the anouncement in the Prince.org features section, so thanks to Ben for the support and enthusiasm! The past 6 months our tracks have recieved and average of 40 downloads a month. That's a HUGE jump! Astronomical even.
