I remember in the 80's when different friends of mines use 2 collect these cards and all I kept thinking 2 myself was, am I the only one who seems 2 be utterly disturb by these pictures? Also I used to wonder why in the world would they take something as cute as the capatch kids and change it into something grose? I just didn't get the fascination. Anyways I tried 2 find some pics on google, but they didn't have any, but if you a kid from the 80's then you know what I'm talking about it.

I loved them but then I always was a sick puppy! I've tried to find them on the net with no joy.

these totally cracked me up at the time, but yeah they are pretty disturbing...

I remember them. At my elementary school, "Graffiti Petey" and "New Wave Dave" from the original series were the most sought-after cards.

I love garbage pail kids, I still have most of mine tho they arent in the greatest condition.

2nd series was pretty hard to find. 3rd series was out wayyy too long.

I think they went all the way up to like 13th series.

There were even oversized garbage pail kids released that were about 4x the size of the regular ones.

I've still got some (somewhere)...and they're in excellent condition. Are these worth anything...?

Oh my God, I loved them! My grandmother used to buy them for me when I was about 6, and my mom used to take them away! Some of my favorites that I remember was one of this kid who was crying and pissing his pants by a restroom that was locked with chains and a padlock and boarded up. It was great! I also remember one of an ice-cream truck selling frozen rats on a stick.
