[This message was edited Wed Jan 7 13:42:12 PST 2004 by 2the9s] no, yes, if you like, no, dear god no. okay... one of the three plays i am in (roger and miriam) is about a mother and her son. the son, as he grows up, ends up being gay and taking a lover, who in one of the last set of letters dies from complications from AIDS. last ngiht at the final dress rehearsal, i was sitting onstage in the all black cotume, that is mourning over the lover costume, and realized the costume needed something to look even more in mourning. a red ribbon, of course, but also a button of his deceased lover. and that robert downey junior looking pic of nate from his thread jumped into mind because it's a really bizarre, haunting pic, that is neither happy nor sad. it's perfect, and i am trying to get ahold of him to ask if he minds me using it for the jeffrey character. i e-mailed him at the e-mail addies i have of his, but he has not answered yet, and the show opens tomrrow night. i used to have his phone number, but i have lost it, and need to get ahold of him soon. very cool. i'm glad you are here... you are my back up plan. mind making a cameo as a dead lover? that pic of you that is on oyur website when you are on the waterwould be very good... you fit the physical description my char makes of the jeffrey char, and while you are smiling in the pic, it would be a good choice. so last night, i ran it by the director and tried it during the rehearsal. as much as he thought it was a fantastic idea, he prefers that the unseen characters in the play remain faceless, so he vetoed it. but thank you Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton | |
