Bigotry does blight Scottish football there is no denying that. I think it is hypocritical the way all the criticism is thrown exclusively to the ‘old firm’. The problem is nationwide and I have witnessed this first hand watching other teams. Look at the abuse Neil Lennon gets at every single ground he goes too. I’ve heard others excuse this abuse because of the type of player he is. Lenny is not a dirty player; his disciplinary record is excellent. Did Neil Lennon get this type of abuse in England? No. It is quite simple; a Catholic boy from Northern Ireland really stirs up bigots. To think he had to stop playing for his own country because of these bigoted morons. So sad, Neil is actually a nice guy quite articulate. Number23 I know the bigotry problem can be really off putting, but you shouldn’t tar us all with the same brush. Believe it or not there are Celtic and Rangers supporters who are sound of mind, unfortunately they are the minority. | |

firstly !!! i was nearly rite with my prediction of 4.0, 3.0 will do !
secondly a wee report on the game... match started tamely 4 an old firm match celtic wer alway's comfortable and never looked like losing a goal ! petrov opened the scoring with a diving header midway through the 1st half (god bless him) h/t 1.0 celtic. early in 2nd half varga scored after some sustained pressure on the hun goal ! 2.0 lookin like a humping now !!! then with 7 minutes 2 go up stepped alan thompson from 30 yards to blast a sreamer round the wall in2 the top corner f**k it doesnt get any better than that, does it ? final score celtic 3,u kno who 0 scorers petrov,varga,thompson. 2 f**kin easy !!! 11points clear and 30 goals better off ! | |
