Believe me, if I didn't have certain anchors, I'd be outta here yesterday!

Then...find the beauty within Cleveland... rose

I'm trying. I'm trying. sigh

There are decent things about Cleveland. But it just doesn't "feed" me anymore. Absolutely nothing but my daughter makes me remain here.

We may not have towering palms like southern California, but Kansas does have some beautiful Skies!

Note the Kansas state tree, telephone poles!

How old is your daughter? smile

If she's the only reason you're staying in Cleveland, then you've found an extraordinary amount of beauty already...rose...And if you ever do decide to move, find a way of making sure she feels your presence and love, no matter where you live. That's what I've done...*smile*...and it feels wonderful knowing that, no matter where I may be or where I may live, she'll feel me next to her and within her...always. heart

Byron, those pictures you took are beautiful!

Here are some pictures I found of Philly:

Pennsylvania Hospital, the country's first hospital, right in the middle of Center City, Philadelphia. It's where my parents work, where my grandmother passed away, and where I was born.

Skyline view from the Schuykill River

Skyline from the Delaware River

The Love Statue

South Street

Longwood Gardens

Rittenhouse Square

The Philadelphia Museum of Art

That's a heartening way to think about things. You are separated from your little one?

My daughter will be 3 next month, btw.

Somewhat...I'm within a few hours driving distance. I bridge that distance,
however, by calling her every morning before school, and every evening
before bedtime. I ask her about her day, her homework, what she had for dinner...
everything. And I never fail to tell her I love her...ever. heart

I know that one day, I'll more than likely end up moving much further away...
or she may move further away from me. Everything I do now, though, is
laying the groundwork for that eventuality...and it's succeeding beautifully.
3 years of age might be a little young for you to do that with ease, I'm sure.
My daughter will be 11 in a few short days, so she's able to handle the realities
much better, as well as grasp the bond we have, even if there's a physical and time
distance between us.

Please show us your town, village whatever. We don't care if we don't know it. Just share hug

OK that means I should be serious too.

I live in London. it's a melting pot of cultures, with people from all over the world sharing the same sky. That's one of the things I love about it. It's a sprawling city, and cities can be harsh and cold, but there's an affection I have for my home that will always be in my heart.

That's one of the things I love about California...so many diverse cultures all around you.
I can interact with people from 17 different countries just going out to buy a Coke...

Plus, I adore California's landscape and scenery... love
It's just as diverse as the people...drive 30 minutes east, and you're at a secluded lake in
the middle of snow-covered mountains...drive 30 minutes west, and you're standing on the edge
of the Pacific ocean, watching the sunset. The drive down the coast is extraordinary, full of
towering cliffs, crashing waves, waterfalls and majestic trees, as well as beautiful surprises
scattered along the way...
