What exactly is a Bank Holiday? Is it different than a regular holiday?

We have Bank holidays here in Australia too. The bank just has a holiday...doesn't mean we do.

I've no idea what bank holiday means.

Australia, the theme park of the world, is a part of everywhere. Or rather, everywhere owns a part of Australia.

Brilliant! A country sold off piece by piece to the highest bidder, be they Chinese, Japanese or whatever.

I might buy a state there myself.

Sometimes we even get a day off in lieu.

Bank Holiday-Any of several public holidays, originally when the banks were closed by law.

Bullocks-The plural of 'bullock'. A castrated bull reared for beef. Otherwise it could be Sandra and her family I guess. The term 'bollocks' however is a slang word for 'testicles'.

Chip Butty-A bread cake filled with potato chips (english fries).
