they used a lifeline on the £500 question oh dear...but they do have trevor mcdonald as a phone a friend!!!

they got to £32 grand...after a bit of a struggle i should add. no lifelines left.

(I'm inclined to believe he therefore possibly would have honoured the 'loss' of £32,000 at the next question to ensure the charity received the full £64,000 they played for - but who knows?)
