Jackie Chan vs Bruce Lee I just got finished watching The Dragon:The Bruce Lee story. It's a good a movie and I really liked it, but I was thinking, if Bruce Lee was still alive and he had to battle Jackie Chan, who'd you think would win ?

on a If? And now with Bruce being the older wiser master...well who knows. But U take the Bruce who was filming Game Of Death when he died against any Jackie Chan and I'll have 2 go with Bruce.
A young Jackie Chan was a extra in a Bruce Lee Movie, If I'm correct playing a prisoner in "Enter The Dragon". I seen alot of guys in the backdrop when watching that movie but never was able 2 pickout chan. Much Love 4 Bruce~

Much Love 4 Bruce~ jackie did alot of stunt doubling when game of death wasnt completed..legend has it jackie actually finished game of death.and on top of that Bruce and Jackie had 2 entirely different styles, Bruce who was a master of wing chun and jeet kune do, and Jackie who learned Gung Fu from being in Chinese opera as a child, of which ws more of a shaolin influenced martial art, Jackie does know all the 5 animals and has used them on many occasion.so its safe to say, there would be no battle but if bruce was alive today they would probably do a film 2gether kind of like the films Jackie and sammo hung did. like project A and so forth and so on. One is a clown and a performer, the other an amazingly gifted fighter. Bruce would win no question. I do however have a lot of respect for Jackie, just not too much as a martial artist. Put yourself on the worldwide org map! www.frappr.com/princeorg

I think Bruce would take it in a real fight. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Jackie Chan is not a real fighter,he's a stuntman. That pretty much sums it up. Although Bruce was untested as a fighter(meaning he never competed),his method (jeet kune do) was geared towards effective streetfighting (in other words taking your opponent out in less than 10 seconds). That being said ,it's not a fluke that the top 3 champions of the time(Joe Lewis,Mike Stone and Chuck Norris) came to him for instruction. Bruce's on screen martial arts was very different then what he would use in a real fight. He definitly juiced it up for the screen cuz what's effective in the street doesn't alwys look dynamic on screen. One other thing Lisa: I enjoyed "Dragon"for the entertaining piece of fluff that it was,but 95% of it is a fabricated. The fight choreography alone was more Jackie Chan than Bruce Lee.Don't make the mistake of believing that it was an accurate portrayal of the man's life. I recall the very early Chan movies as well with him doing the different animals, and even 2 all his stunt work today he's a amazing man...a bit crazy but hes the best at doing what he does.
