Problem solved - I've skipped work! Got up this morning and felt sufficiently festive to not go to work and not even try to phone in sick.
Best thing really, it is Friday after all so it's basically the weekend anyway. Now I can have the Christmas I wanted. Anybody else skipping work to enjoy Christmas?
