It's apparently called Boxing Day because in Victorian times, everyone would congregate at the local park and chase squirrels.

That's why you don't see many fat ones.

We're hours ahead here in Thailand so we're already counting down to the New Year. Christmas was last week.

What exactly is Boxing Day anyway, can somebody explain it? Someone said it is called that because that is the day that people put the Christmas gifts that they don't want into boxes to return them. Which makes sense, because a lot of folks in the U.S. are mobbing the stores the day after Christmas to return gifts they don't want.
