To the Org did you feel a little uncomfortable or did ya feel right at home, were people nice to you right from the beginning?

I took a while to fit in. But I always do. Sometimes I weep into soft fabrics.

it took me a short time to fit in...i was mostly here for the chatroom when i first started up...back in the days when the chatroom was the shit.

it took me quite a while to feel comfy here...what finally made the difference was making a number of friends at a Celebration and realizing this was a perfect place to stay in touch.

That was maybe 18 months ago I guess. In the forums I caused a few minor ripples by being a right fucknut when I first came here. Had big fights with Natasha, but who didn't?

Thing is, I think people want to be accepted straight away and all they get is apathy because it's a little cliquey. It's kinda cold in here the first time.

Many ID changes later and I'm still a nobody, but sometimes that's the best way because u don't end up spending a worrying amount of hours here.

I was a bit shy at first! I only posted in the Prince Music forum and then got sucked into this one by bkw.

Some people were nice to me personally (XxAxX and bkw especially I remember), others were involved in their own things which I think made it tough. Though it was that entertainment that made me want to stick. lol

I originally posted primarily in the music forums as that seemed a pretty common ground. Eventually, I became familiar with more and more orgers, so it became less intimidating to contribute elsewhere.

When I first came I was 12 and wasn't expecting it.

When I first came to the .Org I was excited and relieved that there were other people out there with my same disease, an addiction to Prince. For a long time there I thought I was the only one.
